But ‘an original’ isn’t frozen in time, it changes shape, just like the quintessential Aussie pub. The carpet gets replaced. The jukebox turns into a streaming playlist. There are kids and dogs (smaller and more fluffy). The beer might lose the booze. And yet, when you walk through the door, the feeling’s the same. The things that are Too Good To Be Wasted remain.

We’re not trying to recreate the past. We’re staking a claim in the present, in the beating heart of Australian culture, and showing that “original” is about more than alcohol.

To celebrate Heaps Normal Original Draught hitting taps, we’re teaming up with 30+ venues across Australia for a National Bar Shout.

On March 27 from 5–7pm, over 3000 schooners will be poured around the country.

One proper pub moment, shared nationwide.
