How can I get some Heaps Normal tinnies in the fridge?
Glad to hear you love our product and want to stock Heaps Normal in your fridge. For all states, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Does Heaps Normal contain Gluten?
Our Quiet XPA is a low gluten beer with only 56 ppm of gluten. It is most likely safe to drink for people who have a slight intolerance to gluten.
Our Half Day Hazy Pale Ale is also low gluten with only 29ppm of gluten in a can.
We tested Another Lager for gluten and none was detected. However, since we brew with malted barley there is a chance of slight batch to batch variations in gluten content so we don't make a gluten free claim.
We can confidently say that it's very low in gluten and feedback from people in our community with gluten intolerances has been really positive.
As for coeliacs it's best to be safe and avoid food and drink made with gluten containing cereals
Are Heaps Normal beers vegan?
Great question! Our Quiet XPA, Another Lager, and Half Day Hazy are all vegan.
Why is your beer so expensive?
Our beers are brewed in the same way as normal craft beers, using the same premium ingredients. On top of that, being alcohol free, we need to use higher quantities of some ingredients to ensure our beer tastes as good as normal beers. We are also a small independent company. We don’t benefit from any of the economies of scale across our supply chain that the big brewers do. I hope that helps. Please reach out to email@example.com if you have any further enquiries.
Can I get drunk after a Heaps Normal?
Our beers contain a trace amount of alcohol due to the natural fermentation process. However, you cannot become intoxicated after drinking Heaps Normal. It’s not a challenge but this trace amount of alcohol is processed by your body faster than you can drink Heaps Normal. To put it another way, many everyday foods such as ripe bananas and some burger buns contain a similar amount of alcohol to Heaps Normal.
Is Heaps Normal Low Carb?
Our beers are made with 100% malt and therefore contain a small amount of complex carbohydrates. These play an important role in the body and mouthfeel of the beer.
In terms of total energy (calories) our Quiet XPA contains 63 calories per can, Another Lager and our Hazy Pale Ales contain 71 calories per can. This is roughly half the calories of regular full strength beers. As a comparison a standard soft drink contains 161 calories on average.
I'm pregnant/ breastfeeding, can I drink Heaps Normal?
Our non-alcoholic beers contain 0.5% ABV – this is similar to the amount of alcohol found in fruit juice or bananas. Alcohol free drinks that are 0.5% ABV or lower are suitable for pregnant women and breastfeeding mums. If you are unsure, we do recommend checking in with your healthcare provider before.
Do your beers contain preservatives?
Great news folks. Heaps Normal beers do not contain any preservatives. Our beers only contain water, malt, hops and yeast. We don't believe in putting unnecessary bad stuff in our beers.
How do I manage my subscription?
Needing to make a few changes or delay an order? You'll find a link to your subscription in your original email order. Otherwise, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org to get a new link.
Why should I sign up for a beer subscription?
Well.. If you opt for a beer subscription, you'll get 8.16% off your case of beer. Plus, we'll take the hassle away or remembering when to order or placing an order. Subscriptions are automatic and easy to pause, cancel or delay.
What type of beers do you sell?
Great question legend! We've currently got three different beers for sale. We've got our classic XPA (Tropical and citrus aroma with a lingering and unmistakably beery finish), a Hazy Pale Ale (our tropical sunshine in a can will take you halfway to a holiday) and a Lager (the most classic of classic beers).
